Secure to your planter - place a heavy object (like a sandbag or bricks) in your planter.  Bungee cord or tie the topiay ball to the heavy object.  Alternatively , you could add a heavy object to the inside of the topiary ball to weigh them down.

**To assemble, place one topiary ball half on top of each other matching up fastenings.  Pinch together fastenings with pliers one at a time. Reinforce with zip ties provided.
